I spent a lot of my childhood designing and sewing clothes, playing dress up and putting on extravagant plays for any willing eyes that would watch. This, I believe, is where my love for storytelling began. My parents bought me my first camera when I was a teenager and encouraged me to take the road less traveled. As they say, the rest is history.
I live in a small town in North Carolina in a house on a hill between winding roads with my husband, three kids, and (hopefully, one day) a fluffy cow named Murph.
If you have found your way to my little corner, you don’t want cookie-cutter images. You value being present in the experience of the day and want images that are led by emotion. Soulful versus indifferent. Playful versus stuffy. You like adventure, fashion and a little bit of risk in order to appreciate original, stylish works of art that don't catalog events, but rather, tells the story of it.
If this is you, let's be friends.
